Honey 
Honey is a sweet and viscous fluid produced by honey bees and derived from the nectar of flowers.
Nectar is high in both water content and natural yeasts which, unchecked, would cause the sugars in the nectar to ferment.
Honeybees also collect pollen which supplies protein for bee brood to grow.
For at least 2710 years, honey has been used to treat a variety of ailments through topical application, but only recently have the antiseptic and antibacterial properties of honey been chemically explained.
